At the Boys and Girls Club of Canton, safety is our top priority. We maintain secure, monitored entrances where all members are required to sign in and out, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access. In line with Boys & Girls Clubs of America policies, "the safety of young people at Boys & Girls Clubs is always our top priority." Youth who are mentally and physically safe are better able to learn, grow, and thrive. We do not tolerate bullying, inappropriate behavior, or misconduct of any kind.

 

In partnership with the Canton Police Department, officers are stationed at our entrance, ready to assist if needed. Our policies and staff training focus on providing a safe environment where children are protected and empowered to make healthy choices. There is nothing more important to us than keeping children safe and supported, as safety is the foundation for their success.
